Mr. Messer earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Lake Forest College and Juris Doctor (JD) from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

After having worked for some of the largest firms in Chicago, Mr. Messer and his clients opted for our specialized, boutique firm and personalized attention.

Mr. Messer has extensive practice in real estate law and development, and serves as general counsel for many Chicago small and mid-sized companies. He also serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois.

Familiar with complex environmental matters, Mr. Messer advises businesses about solid and hazardous wastes, brownfields development, enforcement actions in federal, state, and administrative forums, health and safety audits, contract and bid review.

Mr. Messer is a member of the American Bar Association Environmental Section, Illinois State Bar, and Chicago Bar.
